Terms & Conditions / Service Agreement
By booking services with Curls & Paws, LLC (“Curls & Paws,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Curls & Paws, LLC.
1. Services
Curls & Paws, LLC provides professional pet care services including dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight pet sitting. All services are provided as agreed upon during booking and are tailored to each pet’s needs and routine.
2. Meet & Greet Requirement
A complimentary, in-person meet & greet is required for all services, without exception.
Bookings are confirmed only after:
A successful meet & greet has been completed, and
Availability has been confirmed.
Curls & Paws, LLC reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if we determine the arrangement is not a safe or appropriate fit.
3. Booking & Payment Terms
Daycare, Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits:
Full payment is required by the end of the service week (Sunday) upon receipt of invoice.
Overnight Pet Sitting and Boarding:
Overnight stays require a non-refundable deposit of 25–50% of the total service cost to reserve dates.
The remaining balance is due on the first day of service.
Failure to submit payment by the stated due date on multiple occasions may result in cancellation of services and forfeiture of reserved time.
4. Accepted Payment Methods
Curls & Paws, LLC accepts:
Zelle
Venmo
Apple Pay
Credit cards
Bank transfers (ACH)
Payments must be made in accordance with invoice terms to secure and maintain services.
5. Credit Card Processing Fees
Payments made via credit card are subject to a processing surcharge equal to the actual cost charged by the payment processor.
Clients may avoid this surcharge by paying via ACH, Zelle, or Venmo.
All applicable fees are disclosed prior to payment.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Overnight Stays & Holiday / Peak Dates
A minimum of seven (7) days’ notice is required for cancellation.
Daycare, Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits
A minimum of twenty-four (24) hours’ notice is required for cancellation.
Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged in full.
Curls & Paws, LLC understands that emergencies may arise. In certain unforeseen or emergency circumstances, we may, at our sole discretion, work with clients to find a reasonable alternative solution, such as rescheduling, refunding or transferring deposit credit in accordance with our deposit transfer policy.
Curls & Paws, LLC reserves the right to cancel services in the event of an emergency, unsafe conditions, or any circumstance that would make it inappropriate or unsafe to provide services. In such cases, refunds may be issued at our sole discretion.
7. Deposits & Transfers
Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits may be transferred only if cancellation occurs within the required cancellation window.
Transferred deposits:
May be applied to any Curls & Paws, LLC service
Must be used within three (3) months of the original service date
Are not eligible for refunds, extensions, or cash value
8. Holiday & Peak Date Policy
Holiday and peak dates include, but are not limited to, major holidays, long weekends, and high-demand travel periods. These dates are determined by Curls & Paws, LLC and may be subject to limited availability, deposits, and stricter cancellation terms.
9. Pet Health, Behavior & Safety
Clients agree to disclose all relevant information regarding their pet’s health, behavior, dietary needs, and medical conditions prior to services.
Curls & Paws, LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for pets displaying aggressive, unsafe, or unpredictable behavior, including biting, snapping, or lunging.
Dogs will remain leashed at all times unless otherwise agreed upon in writing and only in legally permitted, secure environments.
10. Medication Administration
Basic medications (oral, topical, or liquid) may be administered with clear written instructions provided by the client. Curls & Paws, LLC is not responsible for complications arising from undisclosed conditions or incorrect instructions.
11. Updates & Communication
Clients will receive daily updates, photos, and notes during and after services unless otherwise requested.
12. Emergencies & Veterinary Care
In the event of an emergency, Curls & Paws, LLC will act in good faith to ensure the health and safety of the pet and will make every reasonable effort to contact the client using the information provided.
If the client cannot be reached, the client authorizes Curls & Paws, LLC to contact the designated emergency contact and/or veterinarian and to obtain medical treatment deemed necessary.
All veterinary, medical, and emergency expenses are the responsibility of the client unless the injury or illness is determined to be a direct result of negligence or misconduct by Curls & Paws, LLC. In such cases, expenses will be handled in accordance with Curls & Paws, LLC’s applicable insurance coverage.
13. Liability & Assumption of Risk
Clients acknowledge that pet care involves inherent risks. Curls & Paws, LLC is not liable for illness, injury, death, or damages resulting from pre-existing conditions, age, behavior, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, except in cases of gross negligence.
Clients are responsible for any damage caused by their pet to property, persons, or other animals during services.
14. Home Access & Security
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and reliable access to their home. Curls & Paws, LLC is not responsible for issues related to malfunctioning locks, alarms, smart devices, or access systems unless caused by willful misconduct.
15. Scheduling & Timing
Service times are provided within reasonable arrival windows and are not guaranteed at exact times due to traffic, weather, emergencies, or scheduling constraints.
16. Force Majeure
Curls & Paws, LLC shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, or emergencies.
17. Right to Refuse Service
Curls & Paws, LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if policies are not upheld, payment terms are not met, or safety concerns arise.
18. Modifications
Curls & Paws, LLC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes when applicable.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey and/or New York, as applicable.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By booking services with Curls & Paws, LLC, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

I’ve used “5 star” sitters from Nassau County to Manhattan and literally NONE takes care of my dogs like this! You get regular updates daily with videos and pics. My two boys exercise and play outside multiple times per day and have free runs while inside. I never have to worry about them! In your home or theirs, instructions are followed. Once, one of my dogs was on medication but there were zero issues having instructions followed. I’ve used Curls and Paws over 6 times this past year, from two days to over two weeks, and EVERY time, I come back to healthy, happy, super-content dogs! I never worry while I’m gone. ❤️ The fees are excellent too. As a dog mom who is very particular about her boys, I highly recommend! 6 stars for sure 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

She even went above and beyond—taking Button out more frequently than requested so she could relieve herself comfortably, all during heavy rain and flooding in New Jersey!

We met Sharon through a petsitting app, and we're so glad to have had her watch our beloved Simba. As someone who boarded our dog for the first time, it was incredibly nerve-wracking. We have always done things a certain way with our pup with regard to feedings, walks, training, etc, as I'm sure many people who are reading this review can relate to. Because of this, we wanted someone who would understand and respect our care requests as much as possible. Boy, were we blown away by the care and attention Simba received from Sharon.
She not only followed our wishes and instructions, she followed up with questions of her own to be sure she was understanding what we requested accurately. When someone does this, you can tell this person is interested in our wishes. She fed our baby exactly how we wanted him to be fed, and always asked before she proceeded with something new we hadn't mentioned. She provided updates very often with not only texts but with images as well. Simply put, she cared for our baby as she would her own. When we arrived, we could tell he had a great time with Sharon.
I highly recommend Sharon and am even willing to provide a reference with regard to my experience with her. She will care for your pup with the best of intentions and s/he will be safe with her.

If you’re a dog mommy who loves their fur baby as much as I do and only wants the BEST OF THE BEST for them, Curls & Paws is for you! Sharon provided a home away from home for our 9 month old pup, Neo, while we were out of the state. His stay was filled with lots of love, lots of play and lots of walks. He made a furever friend named Anakin and seeing there pictures and video updates daily filled me with so much joy. I am so happy and content with the level of service, care, and love that she gave Neo and look forward to his next stay!

Sharon has cared for Theodore on our last two vacations. Both times she’s sent countless photos and recaps of their days and adventures. I loved that before our pup stayed with her, she came by to do a quick intro with her own pup and to asses how they’d play together.
When we leave Theodore with Sharon, we know he is being looked after as if he were her own dog. They even took him to see the tree being lit for Christmas! (Photo below)

Sharon is absolutely amazing! She and her husband watched our pup Luna for 4 days and honestly, we think Luna had a better vacation than we did. We got daily photo and video updates (which we LIVED for), and if anything came up like a picky eating moment, Sharon let us know right away.
She made sure Luna got plenty of love, exercise, and playtime, and it was so clear she treated her like one of her own. It’s not easy leaving your pup behind, but Sharon made it completely stress-free.
My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again. If you’re thinking about it…DO IT! Your fur baby will thank you with extra tail wags & purrs because they will be left in the best hands! 🐾❤️
